Job Description
Sort automotive parts of various sizes to ensure the parts meet all standards of presentation and quality.
Conduct sorts via visual inspections, gauge check, etc to meet qualifications.
Study product specifications and work instructions.
Make independent judgments for subjective calls.
Collect and record accurate data regarding defects.
Tag and isolate defective material.
Provide description or justification for defective material.
Complies with relevant local Health and Safety legislation.
Supports Company Health and Safety Policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Hard working and strongly pay attention to details.
Able to communicate in English.
Able to stand on feet for long time.
Must be a team oriented individual.
Eye/Hand Coordination is a must.
Experience in Quality Control is an asset but not required.

Job Description
Sort/containment management: overlook and follow through with new sorts.
Quality inspector training: individuals or groups of quality inspectors.
Quality data management: collect and record accurate data regarding defects.
Liaison between the supplier and the customer to ensure the product meets set quality criteria.
Process flow development and implementation.
Ensure safety procedures are met.
Gauging experience: including but not limited to Thread, Clamp, and Vernier.
Maintain a clean and sustainable work environment.
Requirements
Verbal and visual English writing skills needed.
Good vision.
Hard working and committed.
Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and multitask.
Ability to manage and train individuals or groups of quality inspector.
Ability to work independently or in a team.
At least 1 year experience in automotive quality control.
Driver License is a major asset.
CQI or SQE designation is an asset, but not required.
